Multiplication & Division Equations Puzzle

Posted on February 24, 2019October 30, 2019 by Amy Harrison0 comments on “Multiplication & Division Equations Puzzle”
This engaging puzzle is a unique way to review one-step multiplication and division equations with integers. Puzzles force our students to think, whether they want to or not! To solve the puzzle, students will add or subtract integers to isolate the variable. The solutions will be integers; both positive and negative numbers. There is one question like this: -3-x=21 , where the students will have to deal with that negative one x. The rest of the equations are typical addition and subtraction equations. This puzzle is the PERFECT size for an interactive math notebook (even when you are using a composition notebook). Try using this puzzle in a math station when you are doing rotations - cut out the pieces ahead of time and laminate them to save time.
