# Number Words and Base 10 Blocks Posters – Elementary Math Classroom Decor

This resource includes two posters in one single download – the Number Words poster, and an additional Base 10 Blocks poster, designed to help you cover math standard CCSS 1.NBT.2!

CCSS 1.NBT.B.2: Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones. Understand the following as special cases:

CCSS 1.NBT.B.2a: 10 can be thought of as a bundle of ten ones – called a “ten.”

CCSS 1.NBT.B.2b: The numbers from 11 to 19 are composed of a ten and one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine ones.

CCSS 1.NBT.B.2c: The numbers 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 refer to one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, or nine tens (and 0 ones).

## These are black & white DIY posters.

Print out the panels, cut them out, and assemble your posters. For best results, print on color paper or card stock and laminate.

If you want your posters to look exactly like mine, you need to print them on Astrobrights color paper. (affiliate link)

## These posters are LARGE.

As pictured, the Number Words Poster measures 30.5 inches wide and 43.5 inches tall, while the Base 10 Blocks Poster measures 50.5 inches wide and 11 inches tall.

Most classroom posters are hard to read from the desks. They are usually too small and cluttered with too much information.

My posters are always LARGE and VIVID! You can easily see them from anywhere in the classroom.
